RAMALLAH, Saturday, February 22, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is cloudy and cold to very cold with a significant drop in temperature and scattered rain on most areas possibly accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Moderate to active, southwesterly wind is expected with occasional gusts and sea waves are medium to high.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 11°C and a low of 6°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 10°C and a low of 5°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 11°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Cloudy conditions continue on Sunday with a slight rise in temperature and a chance of scattered rain on most districts.

No change in temperature on Monday as rain subsides, but resumes again on Tuesday along with thunderstorms and occasional hail.

PMD warns people against slippery roads and low visibility.
