RAMALLAH, February 17, 2020 (WAFA) –  Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Riad al-Malki, received today the credentials of the new representative of the European Union to Palestine, Sven Kühn von Burgsdorff.

Malki welcomed the new ambassador and praised the special relations between the EU and Palestine.

He further commended the EU assistance in all fields for Palestinian institutions, calling to strengthen and promote ties between both sides and wishing the new representative success during his mission.

The new representative said he will work toward developing bilateral relations, stressing that the EU will continue to provide support to the Palestinian government and people.
