RAMALLAH, Saturday, February 15, 2020 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas today expressed support for the Chinese government and people’s battle against the new coronavirus epidemic.

During a meeting with the ambassador of the People‘s Republic of China, Ambassador Guo Wei, in Ramallah, President Abbas expressed confidence in China’s ability to overcome this challenge, stressing Palestine’s readiness to provide all possible help to stand with China in facing this ordeal.

Abbas also praised the Chinese position in support of the Palestinian people and their just cause.

For his part, the Chinese ambassador expressed appreciation for this kind gesture which he stressed affirms the strong bilateral relations between both friendly countries and peoples, reiterating China’s stances in support of the Palestinian people and cause.
