RAMALLAH, Tuesday, February 4, 2020 (WAFA) – A drop in temperature is expected today with partly cloudy skies and relatively cold to cold conditions, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
A slight chance of scattered rain showers is expected on some areas, especially the northern. Winds are southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate and sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 13°C and a low of 6°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 12°C and a low of 5°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 21°C and a low of 11°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Temperature, however, rises on Wednesday with clear skies but drops again on Thursday as a cold front affects the region during the night bringing with it rain and very cold conditions.
Friday’s weather is expected to be cloudy, very cold and windy while temperature is expected to significantly drop as the cold front continues to affect the region. Rain, along with thunderstorms, is expected on several areas.
