CAIRO, Friday, January 31, 2020 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas arrived today in the Egyptian capital of Cairo ahead of the extraordinary summit of the Arab foreign ministers, which will discuss the consequences of the recently announced US peace plan, the “deal of the century”.
During the summit, scheduled to start on Saturday, President Abbas will inform the Arab foreign ministers of the Palestinian position towards the deal.
The meeting is expected to discuss a unified Arab response to the deal and the mechanisms to implement previous resolutions on Palestine, most important of which is the Arab Peace Initiative.
