RAMALLAH, Friday, January 31, 2020 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas today received a call of support from Jordan’s King Abdullah II.
In his phone conversation with Abbas, Abdullah II stressed that Jordan is standing alongside the Palestinian people and his just cause in the face of all challenges on its path to attain self-determination and establish the sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Abbas expressed his gratitude to Abdullah II for his honorable positions supporting the Palestinian question and people, and stressed that such positions reflect the deep fraternal Palestinian-Jordanian relations.
