Israeli forces prevent Palestinians from rehabilitating land in Hebron, seize truck, bulldozer

 

HEBRON, Monday, December 23, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli forces seized a truck and a bulldozer owned by Palestinian residents in the town of Beit Ummar to the north of Hebron, the southern occupied West Bank, said a local activist.

Mohammed Awad, a media activist, told WAFA Israeli forces seized a truck and a bulldozer while owners were working on the rehabilitation of a land belonging to a local resident in an area to the north of Beit Ummar town, located near an area that was illegally seized by Israeli settlers.

Israeli forces reportedly forced the land owner and workers to leave the land and prevented them from entering and working in the land. they further seized the truck and the bulldozers before declaring the area a closed military zone.

To be noted, the owner of the land, Nabil Breghith, has been working the land for years and has all documents proving his ownership of the land.
