RAMALLAH, Thursday, December 19, 2019 (WAFA) - Hanan Ashrawi, member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), met with the Swedish Consul-General to Palestine, Jessica Olausson, in Ramallah, where they stressed the need to conduct comprehensive elections while defying all obstacles, including Israeli obstructions in occupied Jerusalem.

She briefed the Swedish diplomat on the latest political developments and exchanged views on recent international political developments that impact Palestine and the prospects of peace.

Ashrawi commended Sweden‘s firm and just position on Palestine and reiterated how deeply the Palestinian people value the special relationship between the two states. Both parties
