RAMALLAH, Thursday, December 19, 2019 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Foreign Ministry stated today that it was following up on the case of a Palestinian student from the West Bank district of Jenin whose corpse was found by German police several days ago.
The Ministry said in a press release that in cooperation with the Palestinian Embassy to Germany and the competent German authorities, and from the fist instant, it was looking into the case of Mohammad Imad As‘ous, a resident of Muthalath al-Shuhada village, located to the southwest of Jenin in the north of the West Bank, who was pursuing his studies in Germany and went missing there about a month ago.
The statement added that the ministry was awaiting the final report of the German police and forensics before coordinating with the relatives of the deceased to bring his body home for burial.
