RAMALLAH, Thursday, December 12, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is cloudy and relatively cold to cold with a slight rise in temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Another low pressure is expected to affect the country as a chance of heavy rain and thunderstorms is expected in most areas starting in the afternoon hours today.

Moderate to active westerly to southwesterly wind is expected during the day. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 14°C and a low of 9°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 13°C and a low of 8°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 13°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Low pressure is expected to continue on Friday as temperature drops with a chance of heavy rain and thunderstorms in most areas.

A slight chance of scattered rain is expected on Saturday as weather continues to be relatively cold and temperature is expected to rise.

PMD warns people against floods in the low areas, high winds, slippery roads and the formation of fog on mountains.
