Woman among 10 Palestinians Israeli army detains in West Bank

 

RAMALLAH, Wednesday, December 11, 2019 (WAFA) – A woman was among 10 Palestinians the Israeli army detained early today in West Bank raids, according to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).

In a raid of the city of Ramallah and its environs, the army detained Bushra Tawil, at her family’s al-Bireh home. Tawil is a former prisoner and her detention came only one week after her father, Jamal Tawil, former mayor of al-Bireh, was released after serving 20 months in administrative detention without charge or trial.

The army also detained four other people from the Ramallah district, including Jalazoun refugee camp, Bittin and Silwad.

Further south, the army detained a 16-year-old boy from Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem, along with two other men, and two more men from the town of Halhoul,
