RAMALLAH, Wednesday, December 11, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy and relatively cold with a rise in temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Light southeasterly to easterly wind is expected during the day and changes to moderate to active southeasterly to southwesterly at night. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 11°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 16°C and a low of 10°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 14°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 21°C and a low of 14°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Another low pressure is expected to affect the country on Thursday and Friday as temperature drops with a chance of heavy rain and thunderstorms in most areas starting in the afternoon hours on Thursday.
A slight chance of scattered rain is expected on Saturday as weather continues to be relatively cold and temperature is expected to rise.
PMD warns people against floods in the low areas, high winds, slippery roads and the formation of fog on mountains.
