RAMALLAH, Tuesday, December 10, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is cloudy and cold with a chance of heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms in most areas until today’s evening, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are southwesterly to westerly, moderate to active. Sea waves are medium to high.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 13°C and a low of 10°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 12°C and a low of 8°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 15°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 13°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature is expected to slightly rise on Wednesday, with mostly partly cloudy skies.

Another low pressure is expected to affect the country on Thursday and Friday, with a chance of heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms in most areas.

PMD warned people against floods in low areas, speedy winds, slippery roads and the formation of fog on mountains.
