RAMALLAH, Saturday, December 07, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy and relatively cold with a drop of temperature and slight chance of scattered showers on some areas, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Moderate to active northwesterly winds are expected and low to medium sea waves.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 13°C and a low of 9°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 12°C and a low of 8°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 14°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A low pressure is expected to reach Palestine in the early afternoon hours on Sunday with rain and thunderstorms expected on the northern areas to later expand to the rest of the districts bringing with it gusty winds.

The low pressure with rain and thunderstorms is expected to continue on Monday, but ends on Tuesday as temperature rises a bit.

PMD warns people against floods in the low areas, slippery roads and the formation of fog on mountains.
