RAMALLAH, Friday, December 06, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy and relatively cold in daytime and cold in nighttime, particularly in mountainous districts, with a drop of temperature which becomes below the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Scattered and isolated rain showers are expected to fall on various districts. Light to moderate northwesterly to northeasterly winds will prevail with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 14°C and a low of 9°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 13°C and a low of 8°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 14°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Saturday’s temperature is set to further drop and become unseasonably low with partly cloudy and relatively cold conditions in daytime and very cold conditions, particularly in the early morning and night hours. A chance of sporadic light rain is expected.

Sunday’s weather is partly cloudy and relatively cold to cold with unseasonably low temperature. Isolated rainfall is expected to fall in the morning hours, and will gradually intensify and spread to other districts in the evening and night hours. Occasional thunderstorms are expected.

Monday’s temperature is set to remain unseasonably low with cold and rainy conditions. Rain showers, which could be torrential, along with thunderstorms are expected on various districts.
