RAMALLAH, Thursday, October 31, 2019 (WAFA) – The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission managed to thwart an attempt by Israeli authorities to seize Palestinian land in the occupied West Bank city of Salfit, said the Committee Chairman, Walid Assaf.
Assaf told WAFA the legal staff of the committee managed to thwart an attempt by the Israeli occupation to falsify documents and seize around 37 dunums of land in Khillet Hassan, a locale in the town of Biddya in the Salfit district, in the central occupied West Bank.
He added that this is third case won by the commission this year, noting that it managed to recover around 850 dunums in the last five years, out of 1,300 dunums on which Israel was planning to build a settlement outpost.
