RAMALLAH, Monday, October 28, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy and mild in daytime and relatively cold in nighttime, with a slight drop in temperature which approaches 3°C below seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
A slight chance of scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms is expected on some areas, mainly in the north. Winds are southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to occasionally active. Sea waves are medium to high.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 15°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 21°C and a low of 14°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 21°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 19°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Similar weather conditions are likely on Tuesday, yet with another slight drop in temperature that reaches 4°C below the seasonal average. Chance remains for sporadic isolated rains on some districts.
Wednesday’s temperature is set to rise, but remains lower than the seasonal average with mild conditions in daytime and relatively cold conditions in the early morning hours and nighttime.
No significant change is expected in the weather conditions on Thursday.
