Israeli forces detain 11 Palestinians in West Bank, al-Aqsa guard in Jerusalem

 

RAMALLAH, Thursday, October 31. 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli forces over night and early Thursday detained 11 Palestinians, including former member of the Palestine Legislative Council, Khalida Jarrar, from multiple West Bank districts, and a guard of al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem, said the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

PPS said in a statement Israeli forces detained four Palestinians in the Ramallah area, including lawmaker Kahlida Jarar, who spent around three years in Israeli jails under administrative detention, without charge or trial.

Three people were detained from Bethlehem’s Aida refugee camp, in the southern occupied West Bank, three others, including two aged 18, were detained in Tulkarem, and one in Nablus.

Israeli police also detained a guard of al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, a 14-year-old boy was detained late Wednesday night in the occupied East Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Issawiya after being physically assaulted by Israeli police.
