GAZA, July 2, 2018 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was killed and three others were injured on Monday after they allegedly approached the barbed-wire fence between Gaza and Israel to the east of Rafah city, in the southern Gaza Strip, said medical sources.
Sources told WAFA Israeli forces stationed along the borders with Gaza opened live fire at four Palestinian youths after they allegedly approached the Israeli-installed barbed-wire fence along Gaza borders, shooting and injuring all four.
One of the injured managed to flee the scene after being shot and reach a hospital in Rafah. He was shot in the shoulder. The rest were detained by the soldiers despite their injuries. They were led to an unknown destination and their medical status was not immediately known but the Israeli army later said one of them has died.
