JERUSAELM, Tuesday, November 06, 2018 (WAFA) – Staff from the Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem demolished on Tuesday a Palestinian home in occupied East Jerusalem under the pretext it was built without a permit.
WAFA correspondent in Jerusalem said Israeli forces cordoned off an area in Beit Hanina neighborhood, north of Jerusalem, as bulldozers proceeded to demolish a home owned by the Rajabi family.
The forces prevented reporters and people from getting near the house while municipality staff removed some of the furniture before demolishing it over what was left inside it, said the correspondent.
One of the owners of the house collapsed during the demolition and was evacuated to hospital.
Meanwhile, municipality crews demolished another Palestinian structure in Silwan, south of Jerusalem, under the pretext of construction without permit. The structure, a shop, was owned by Mohammad Odeh.
