RIYADH, Tuesday, February 12, 2019 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas met with Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, where they discussed the latest political developments in Palestine, especially the dangers facing Jerusalem.
President Abbas briefed the Saudi king on the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and political process in light of the continued Israeli violations against the Palestinian people, land, and holy sites, and attempts to pass the so-called ‘Deal of the Century’.

The meeting was attended by Saeb Erekat, secretary general of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Majdi al-Khalidi, the president‘s diplomatic adviser, Hussein al-Sheikh, member of the Fatah Central Committee and the head of the Civil Affairs Authority, Majed Faraj, head of the General Intelligence, and Bassam al-Agha, Palestinian ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
