RAMALLAH, Tuesday, January 8, 2018 (WAFA) - Weather on Tuesday is partially cloudy to cloudy and very cold with a slight rise in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Rain, thunderstorm and hail are expected on most areas. Snow is expected on mountains more than 950 meters above sea level.

Wind is southwesterly to westerly, dusty, active with strong gusts at times. Sea waves are high.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 10°C and a low of 4°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 9°C and a low of 3°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 9°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 9°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

PMD predicted same weather conditions to continue on Wednesday.

Thursday and Friday‘s weather is expected to be clear, very cold with a rise in temperature.

PMD warned people on Tuesday and Wednesday of strong winds, formation of floods in valleys and low areas, low visibility due to formation of fog and low clouds, slippery on roads and frost formation on Thursday and Friday.
