RAMALLAH, August 14, 2018 (WAFA) - The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during July slightly increased by 0.04% compared with June, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Tuesday.
The increase was by 0.45% in Gaza Strip, 0.16% in Jerusalem outside the Israeli-annexed part, and 0.02% in the West Bank.
CPI during July 2018 increased by 1.21% compared with July 2017 - 1.95% in the West Bank, 1.88% in Jerusalem, and 0.23% in Gaza Strip.
The CPI during the first seven months of 2018 decreased by 0.48% compared with the same period of the previous year - 1.48% in Gaza Strip and 0.02% in the West Bank, while it increased by 0.62% in Jerusalem.
