GAZA, August 13, 2018 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man died on Monday of wounds sustained on May 14 in the Great Return March protests at the Gaza border with Israel, according to medical sources.
The sources said that Wissam Yousef Hijazi, 30, was critically injured by Israeli forces during the border protests east of Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip and was getting treatment at hospital until he was pronounced dead.
This brings the total number of those killed in Gaza since the outbreak of the protests on March 30 to 168.
