Stock market drops by half percentage point on low trading

 

NABLUS, August 9, 2018 (WAFA) – The stock market index of the Palestine Exchange (PEX) dropped by half percentage point on low trading on Thursday at end of trading week, according to the daily PEX report.

A total of 211,832 shares were traded for a value of $341,612.958, executed during 105 transactions.

The ‘Al-Quds Index‘ closed at 543.95 points, a 2.75 points (0.5%) decrease compared to the last trading session.

Shares of 13 companies were traded. None showed any increase in share price while share price of eight companies has decreased.

Top five decliners: AZIZA by 4.76%, JPH by 3.75%, UCI by 3.45%, PEC by 1.45%, and BOP by 0.80%.
