Israeli forces detain 13 Palestinians from West Bank

 

RAMALLAH, August 9, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Thursday detained 13 Palestinians during several overnight raids across the West Bank, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

Israeli forces raided Qaffin, a town to the northeast of Tulkarem, detaining four Palestinians, including two brothers.

Meanwhile, forces detained a Palestinian after storming his family home in Handaza area, east of Bethlehem. The detainee’s father is reportedly serving a life sentence in Israeli prisons.

In a raid into Dura town, south of Hebron, soldiers detained a Palestinian after beating him up. Another Palestinian was detained from the Hebron district.

A similar raid was reported in Qalqiliya district, where a Palestinian was detained, and another detained from Einabous, Nablus district.

Two Palestinians were also detained from Aqbat Jabr refugee camp in Jericho and two others detained at Qalandia refugee camp, south of Ramallah.
