Low trading at stock exchange, yet index went up by almost half percentage point

 

NABLUS, August 8, 2018 (WAFA) – Despite low trading at the Palestine Stock Exchange (PEX) on Wednesday, yet the Al-Quds Index closed at 546.70 points, a 2.29 points (0.42%) increase compared to the last trading session, according to the daily PEX report.

A total of 379,091 shares were traded for a value of $656,006.178, executed during 170 transactions.

Shares of 17 companies were traded. Share price increased in eight companies and decreased in three others.

Top five gainers: WATANIYA by 2.27%, PRICO by 2.08%, UCI by 1.75%, QUDS by 1.60%, and PIBC by 0.73%.

The decliners were: TIC by 2.56%, BPC by 0.95%, and TNB by 0.57%.
