Israeli army shoots, injures three Palestinians north of Hebron

HEBRON, July 28, 2018 (WAFA) - Three Palestinian youth Saturday were shot and injured by Israeli soldiers during clashes that erupted after the latter raided the town of Beit Ummar to the north of the southern West Bank district of Hebron, according to local sources.

Mohammad Awad, a local media activist, told WAFA that Israeli soldiers fired rubber-coated rounds and tear gas canisters at the protesting youth, injuring three of them in the foot, neck and hand, respectively.

He said a 28-year-old paramedic was also injured in the face from glass shrapnel after Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters toward his car, smashing the car windows and windshield.

Dozens also suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces further distributed leaflets threatening residents of collective punishments in the event they continued to resist the Israeli occupation forces.
