BISHKEK, July 28, 2018 (WAFA) – President of Kyrgyzstan, Sooronbay Jeenbekov, reaffirmed on Saturday during a meeting with Foreign Minister Riyad Malki in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek his country’s full support for Palestinian rights.
He said his country supports the Palestinians in international and regional forums in addition to its support for projects as part of strengthening bilateral relations.
Malki and Jeenbekov discussed ways to enhance political, diplomatic, economic, scientific, medical and parliamentary cooperation between Palestine and Kyrgyzstan.
Malki, who briefed Jeenbekov on the ongoing Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, has invited the Kyrgyz president to visit Palestine.
Jeenbekov also invited President Mahmoud Abbas to visit Kyrgyzstan in the near future.
Kyrgyzstan is the second leg of a tour Malki is embarking on in central Asian republics.
