GAZA, July 27, 2018 (WAFA) – A 14-year-old child was killed in Gaza on Friday when shot by Israeli army gunfire, according to the Ministry of Health. He is the second fatality in Gaza within hours.
The ministry said the child was hit in the head east of Rafah during the weekly protests at the borders with Israel.
It also said 184 Palestinians were injured along the border, 117 of them were admitted to hospital and included 70 from live bullets. Among the wounded, 10 were women, 14 children, four medics and one journalist.
A 43-year-old Palestinian was earlier killed in the protests.
Their death brings the total number of Palestinians killed by Israel in Gaza since March 30, when the March of Return protests began, to 154.
