GAZA, July 17, 2018 (WAFA) – A young Palestinian man identified as 20-year-old Sari Daoud Shoubaki, who was shot and seriously injured by Israeli gunfire during protests on May 14 at the borders with Israel, died on Tuesday of his wounds, according to the Ministry of Health.
It said Shoubaki was getting treatment at St. Joseph Hospital in East Jerusalem when he succumbed to his wounds.
Shoubaki, from Toffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, was shot in the neck causing him paralysis and prompting his transfer to a hospital in Jerusalem.
With his death, the number of Palestinians murdered by Israel during the border protests since March 30 has reached 140.
