Israeli artillery shells locations east of Gaza

 

GAZA, March 15, 2018 (WAFA) - Israeli artillery fired six shells on Thursday at locations to the east of Gaza City and Jabaliya in the north of the Gaza Strip. One person was reported injured from shrapnel in another attack, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that Israeli tanks located on the border perimeter near Nahal Oz military camp to the east of Gaza shelled and opened heavy gunfire at agricultural land and two other locations.

Explosions were heard and smoke seen near the perimeter to the east of Gaza following the shelling.

Israel claimed the attack came in response to an explosion of a device planted near the border area and was set off when an Israeli military patrol passed by. No injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, a Palestinian man was injured on Thursday by rocket shrapnel launched by an Israeli surveillance plane and targeted a location in Beit Hanoun to the east of Gaza leaving the site totally destroyed and damage caused to people’s property, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that an Israeli surveillance planes launched three rockets at the location to the east of Beit Hanoun injuring one Palestinian moderately. He was transferred to the hospital.
