RAMALLAH, March 1, 2018 (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to give a wide ranging speech on the latest political developments at the opening of a three-day meeting for Fatah Revolutionary Council (FRC) in Ramallah on Thursday, according to Fayez Abu Eita, deputy secretary of the FRC.
He told the official Voice of Palestine radio that the council will discuss in this extraordinary meeting the dangerous US stance toward the Palestinian issue, strengthening the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and developing relations at the regional and international levels.
Abu Eita added that the council would also discuss the internal Palestinian situation, especially relations with Hamas and the Islamic Jihad movements, and discuss the process for speeding a meeting for the Palestinian National Council.
He said positive developments have taken place in the reconciliation in light of the presence of the Egyptian security delegation in the Gaza Strip, and that Fatah movement has a clear decision to end the division.
