Palestinian injured, another detained in clashes at Dheisheh camp

RAMALLAH, February 24, 2018 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth was Saturday injured during clashes that broke out with Israeli forces in Dheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian security sources.

They told WAFA that clashes erupted when Israeli forces raided the camp and the area of nearby Solomon’s Pools.

The soldiers opened fire at the protesters resulting in one getting injured in the foot from live fire. He was moved to hospital for treatment.

Israeli forces also detained 22-year-old Akram Atrash after raiding and ransacking his family home in Dheisheh camp.

Atrash was shot and injured four months ago during clashes with soldiers in the camp.
