RAMALLAH, February 23, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Friday is partly cloudy, relatively chilly in mountainous areas and pleasant in other areas, said Palestine Meteorological Department (PMD).

Temperatures are set to remain about three degrees Celsius (°C) above the seasonal average. Occasional rain are expected to fall, particularly on southern districts, with occasional thunderstorms. Wind is southwesterly to southeasterly, light to moderate, active at times. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem is set to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 8°C and in Ramallah a high of 15°C and a low of 7°C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is set to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 13°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 11°C in Gaza.

Partly cloudy to clear and relatively chilly conditions are expected for Saturday in mountainous areas and pleasant conditions in other areas. Temperatures are set to remain steady.

PMS expects temperatures to rise and approach five °C above the average on Sunday with partly cloudy skies giving way to cloudy skies in the afternoon and night. Occasional late sporadic rain showers are expected to fall, particularly on northern districts.

PMD expects a drop in temperatures which approach three °C above the average with mostly cloudy skies and sporadic showers developing later at night.
