After gaining membership, Interpol working to connect Palestine to its central bureau

 

RAMALLAH, February 21, 2018 (WAFA) – Palestinian police chief, Hazem Attallah, received on Wednesday a technical delegation from the International Criminal Police (Interpol), who is on a visit to the State of Palestine, to complete the technical work for the secure electronic link system (i 24/7) to the Central Bureau of the International Criminal Police (Interpol Palestine).

A statement by the police public relations department said the delegation completed the technical work to achieve safe communication between the Palestinian police and the International Criminal Police through the safe system of communication between the member states of the organization.

The delegation presented Attallah flag of the Interpol to welcome the Palestinian police into the international police family and to contribute to the fight against transnational crime in order to make the world a safer place.

Attallah welcomed the visiting delegation and thanked them for their work, stressing the readiness of the Palestinian police to cooperate and contribute to international efforts to combat crime in all its forms, locally and internationally.
