RAMALLAH, February 21, 2018 (WAFA) - Israeli forces detained on Wednesday two minors and a journalist during a protest at Ofer military camp to the west of Ramallah in solidarity with detained activist Munther Ameera, according to WAFA correspondent.
She said soldiers fired tear gas at the protesters and sprayed them with pepper spray causing several suffocation cases.
The soldiers detained two minors, whose identity was not immediately known, and Mohammad Elwan, a journalist who was covering the protest. The soldiers also teargassed the journalists to prevent them from covering the protest.
Ameera was detained on December in Bethlehem during a protest against US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
The protesters raised the Palestinian flag and photos of Ameera during the protest.
