RAMALLAH, December 15, 2017 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth Friday succumbed to wounds he sustained earlier today during clashes that broke out in the town of ‘Anata, in Jerusalem, as Israeli forces suppressed Palestinians who took to the streets in condemnation of the U.S. official recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
According to the ministry of health, Basil Isma’il who was shot in the chest earlier today succumbed to his critical wounds while receiving medical treatment in Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah.
The killing of Isma’il brings the total number of people killed during Friday clashes to three. Two Palestinians were fatally shot on Friday during similar clashes along Gaza borders.
