RAMALLAH, December 14, 2017 (WAFA) - The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during November decreased by 0.38% compared with October, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Thursday.
CPI decreased by 0.96% in Gaza Strip, 0.17% in the West Bank, and 0.16% in Jerusalem area not annexed by Israel.
When compared to November of last year, CPI actually increased by 0.67%. It increased by 1.24% in Jerusalem and by 1.12% in Gaza Strip, while it decreased by 0.21% in the West Bank.
CPI increased during the first 11 months of this year by 0.23% compared with the same period of the previous year. It increased by 2.25% in Jerusalem and slightly increased by 0.09% in Gaza Strip and by 0.08% in the West Bank.
