RAMALLAH, December 11, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Monday injured six Palestinians during clashes at the northern entrance to Ramallah, known as the DCO checkpoint, as protesters continued to rally against the US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
Israeli forces deployed in the area fired live and rubber-coated metal bullets at the demonstration, injuring six protesters, one them shot by a live bullet to the thigh, according to the Ministry of Health. He was reported in moderate condition.
Photojournalist Nasser Shyoukhi was also lightly injured when hit by a rubber bullet in the shoulder.
