Israeli forces confiscate equipment near Nablus

NABLUS, December 10, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Sunday confiscated agricultural equipment, including a tractor, in the village of Nasareya, to the northeast of Nablus, according to local sources.

Aref Daraghmeh, who monitors Israeli violations in the area, told WAFA that the Israeli army confiscated a tractor and metalwork equipment, that were used by local villagers for the construction of a water pipe in the area.

The village is located in the Jordan Valley in the occupied West Bank, a territory which Israel seeks to annex de facto, preventing the development of Palestinian communities and destroying homes in Palestinian Bedouin communities.

International rights organizations have considered the continuation of the Israeli campaign, which targets Palestinians in the Jordan Valley, whether though confiscations, demolitions or evictions under the pretext of holding military exercises, a violation of international humanitarian law.
