GAZA, October 9, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli artillery fired at last two shells Sunday night at a location to the east of Maghazi refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip, and arrested two Palestinians when they approached the border fence with Israel to the east of Rafah, WAFA correspondent said.
The shells fired by Israeli tanks stationed along the border with Gaza caused damage but no human casualties.
The Israeli army claimed the shelling came after a rocket was fired from Gaza aimed Israel but landed in Gaza territory.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces fired flares over the eastern areas of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, causing fire to fields.
Israeli soldiers also detained two Palestinians when they approached the border fence to the east of Rafah. They were taken to an unknown destination.
