Weather: Temperature higher than average, scattered rain expected on Sunday

 

RAMALLAH, October 7, 2017 (WAFA) – Weather on Saturday is partially cloudy to clear with a slight rise in temperature to become a bit higher than the annual average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Temperature in the central West Bank on Saturday and Sunday is expected to be in the mid-20s during the day and upper teens during the night. In the Jordan Valley, temperature is in the mid-30s during the day and mid-20s during the night. In Gaza, temperature is in the upper 20s during the day and lower 20s during the night.

Wind is northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate and sea waves are low.

The PMD also predicts weather and temperature on Sunday to remain the same. Scattered rain, though, is expected on several areas on Sunday evening.

Monday’s weather is partially cloudy to cloudy with a significant drop in temperature to become three degrees Celsius lower than annual average. Scattered rain is expected on several areas.

Weather on Tuesday is partially cloudy to clear. Temperature is expected to slightly rise while remaining two degrees Celsius lower than annual average.
