HEBRON, October 6, 2017 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians Friday suffocated after inhaling tear gas fired at them by Israeli army as the former quelled a peaceful demonstration in Khirbet Qalqas, a locale south of the southern West Bank district of Hebron, said a local activist.

Anti-settlements activist. ‘Aref Jaber, told WAFA correspondent forces violently suppressed a demonstration organized by the village residents to demand the reopening of the main road to the village that was closed by Israel almost 17 years ago.

Since then, the village residents have been forced to take long alternative detours instead.
