RAMALLAH, January 5, 2017 (WAFA) – Health Minister Jawad Awwad strongly condemned on Thursday Israeli shooting at the car of his deputy, Asa’ad Ramlawi while travelling near Ramallah.
Israeli soldiers opened fire at Ramlawi’s car while he was leaving Ramallah. The deputy minister was not hurt but damage was caused to the windshield.
The Health Ministry said in a statement that the shooting was intentional.
Awwad told Voice of Palestine radio that the shooting is indicative of the Israeli “barbaric” treatment of the Palestinians.
