SALFIT, January 4, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces razed on Wednesday lands in al-Mreij area located on the western entrance of the town of Kur El Dik in the Salfit district, according to the town’s mayor Jamal al-Dik.

The land, which belongs to Ayyob Ali Ahmad and his sons, was swept by Israeli army bulldozers.

Mayor Dik told WAFA that the Israeli bulldozers have been working for so long in the western area of the village and sweeping most of the town lands, including archeological and historical sites, for the benefit of the settlement Eli Zahav.

He also noted that the Israeli authorities handed civilians living in the village on Tuesday seven notices that included orders to stop building urban structures in the western area under the pretext that it is located inside Area C, which is under full Israeli military control.
