HEBRON, December 26, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Monday informed Palestinians in Masafer Yatta area, a Bedouin congregation south of Hebron in the West Bank, that they intend to demolish a mosque and to destroy other residential structures in the area, according to local sources.
Rateb Jabour, who monitors Israeli activities in the area, said Israeli forces handed over a notice regarding their intention to demolish the mosque in addition to 16 other residential structures, as well as to take down three solar panels under the pretext of construction without a permit.
Most of the structures and solar panels are contributed by Europeans as humanitarian aid to Palestinian communities living in Israeli occupied areas hard hit by restrictions and measures.
