RAMALLAH, December 18, 2016 (WAFA) – Weather on Sunday is anticipated to be rainy, partially cloudy to cloudy and cold with a noticeable drop in temperatures, approaching 3-4 degrees Celsius below annual average, according to the Palestine Meteorological Department.
Heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms is expected in many areas across the region.
Winds are northwesterly to northerly and moderate to active, and sea waves are medium to high.
Weather on Monday is set to be cloudy to partially cloudy and cold. Scattered rain showers with thunderstorms are expected to develop on some areas with another drop in temperatures to become 5 degrees Celsius lower than annual average.
Partially cloudy to clear skies with cold weather are expected on Tuesday. A slight rise in temperature is expected, setting back to 3 degrees Celsius lower than annual average.
Another slight rise in temperatures is expected for Wednesday.
Citizens are warned against low horizontal visibility and against frost, especially on Monday and Tuesday morning.
