JENIN, August 17, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Wednesday detained a Palestinian and seized money and a vehicle during multiple raids across the northern West Bank district of Jenin, said security sources.
Forces detained Majd Arqawi, 24, after storming and ransacking his family house during a raid into the eastern neighborhood of Jenin city.
Forces also reportedly seized unidentified sum of money and electrical devices (computers and mobile phones).
Meanwhile, forces stormed the family house of Jamal Abu al-Hayja, who is held in Israeli custody, in Jenin refugee camp, wreaking havoc inside it and seizing a vehicle and some electrical devices.
Local media said troops also stormed houses of Abu al-Hayja’s sons: Abdul-Salam, Asem and Imad.
Forces also raided Barta‘a village, southwest of Jenin, breaking into and tempering with the contents of the family house of Muhammad Alaqma.
The raid came several hours after Alaqma, 27, was handcuffed and detained by Israeli troops as he attempted to cross a military checkpoint at the entrance leading to his hometown.
