RAMALLAH, August 7, 2025 (WAFA) - Vice President of the State of Palestine and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Hussein al-Sheikh, met with Romanian Ambassador to Palestine, Florin Bulgariu, and a consular official in Ramallah, where they discussed the latest political developments, particularly in light of the intensified Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

During a meeting held today, Thursday, the Vice President stressed the gravity of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, warning of the continued Palestinian bloodshed and the starvation war, and called for immediate international intervention to ensure the cessation of aggression and the rapid delivery of humanitarian aid.

For his part, the Romanian ambassador affirmed his country’s support for the two-state solution and its continued cooperation with the State of Palestine.
